Maverick
Maverick is still patiently waiting for his furever home. He is constantly overlooked, for no real reason. The person who takes the time to get to know him is really going to hit the jackpot with this boy. His life started out rough as he was left tied to train tracks and left for dead until a good Samaritan found him and brought him to a shelter. Maverick is approx 2-3 years old. He loves to play and go swimming but is also just as happy snuggling up for a nap on a lazy afternoon. Mav is trained in basic obedience, house broken and is awesome on a leash. He will need to continue obedience training but is very intelligent so he can catch on to anything. He would do best in a home with older kids and no other dogs or cats.
