This is Smokey,  a good Samaritan found him wandering by the Butler County Airport, took him home and reached out for help. Smokey was then brought to Animal Friends Humane Society in Hamilton.

On intake, October 17th, he weighed only 35 pounds. All he wanted was a little bit of food and lots of love! Animal Control opened an investigation and was able to find the owner and file charges. Animal Friends has taken excellent care of him, he is quickly gaining weight.  Smokey has begun his journey to complete recovery, and we have started a chipin for those of you who have asked to help, please click on  Smokey’s ChipIn.
